Training and Seminars

The DFI Capacity Building Committee conducts accessible format production training at regular intervals. Many DFI member organizations also offer training and consultancy on making information accessible for all including persons with print disabilities.

DFI also conducts “Inclusive Publishing” training for mainstream publishers and Governmental agencies engaged in text book production. We provide training on how subtle changes in the publishing workflow can result in books that are not only universally accessible but also result in value addition for the producer as well as the users.

The DFI Committees and Members also conduct seminars to increase the awareness about the problem of information access and the new reading and publishing solutions. Some of the events conducted with these objectives are “Reading without Seeing” and “Antarchakchu”.
